CONCHO BELT Jerry T. Nelson Native American turquoise and sterling beauty
DescriptionCONCHO BELT turquoise and sterling concho belt, signed on the back by well-known Native American Navajo maker, Jerry T Nelson . The radiating lines centered on each piece of turquoise and the scalloped edges are both beautiful. The belt is 46" by 1", the buckle is 3" by 2", and the 7 conchos are 2-5/8" by 2" each. Born in 1959, Nelson always made a high quality product, and this particular signature is on only the best of his pieces.
He uses more than one way to sign his jewelry, see Billie Hougarts "The Little Book of Marks on Southwestern Silver 2012" page 243.
All items in excellent vintage condition unless otherwise noted.
