    CASE Art Nouveau gun metal & sterling silver caseGun metal has a lovely blue-back color and satin sheen, a perfect contrast to the silver accents, and it also has a nice matte look and feel. A similar gun metal case in a different Art Nouveau design can be seen in Benjamin's "Antique Jewellery" book on page 132. This is missing the elastic inside that would have held the cards in place, but the openings are there so that it could be replaced. It is otherwise in very good vintage condition.
