ANTHONY by Antonio Aquilino sterling vermeil fish brooch with clear rhinestones
Price: $338.00
DescriptionANTHONY by Antonio Aquilino sterling vermeil fish brooch with clear rhinestones, marked only "sterling" on the back but we had another just like it that does have the "Anthony" mark, 2-1/3" by about 1-1/2".
Antonio immigrated from Naples, Italy, in about 1920 but didn't begin making jewelry until the 1940s. The use of sterling indicates that this was made during World War II when there was a shortage of other metals. View View Product #41701
