    VICTORIAN 10-14 karat yellow gold and hand painted portrait brooch with a pop-up loop for a necklace chainIt is hand painted with gold trim, marked "DIBB 10k" on the back bottom, 2-1/8" by 1-5/8". It is marked 14k on the catch and 10k on the frame, chain tests 10k but the catch doesn’t. I am puzzled by the bubbly-looking area where possibly lace is illustrated.
