CASE Art Nouveau gun metal and sterling silver case with a lady and flower motif, 3-1/2" by 3-3/4". This is beautifully made with subtle molding in the lady's face and hair and a wonderful sense of design. The clasp is a lovely blue cabochon.  Gun metal has a lovely blue-back color and satin sheen, and wonderful contrast to the silver accents. A similar gun metal case in another Art Nouveau design can be seen in Benjamin's "Antique Jewellery" on page 132.
