VICTORIAN miniature Scottish agate dirk kilt pins, set of 2

Description VICTORIAN miniature Scottish agate dirk kilt pins, one marked on the back "sterling silver" and the other is marked "JC&S" for Joseph Cook & Son Limited of Birmingham England.  This type of jewelry used agates, jasper, bloodstone and  cairngorm or quartz.  The larger brooch is 2-1/4" by 3/4" and the smaller pin is 1-1/2" by 1/4".   The stone in the top of the smaller pin is very worn, and they are both from the 1880s.
