Price: $398.00
Description VICTORIAN painted porcelain miniature set in jet Tyrolean boy portrait brooch, circa 1870, 2-1/8".  These plaques were made in Austria and sent to Whitby, England, to be mounted in jet for jewelry.  There is some scratching on the portrait as can be seen in the photo.  The portraits were often young Tyrolean boys, but are also called the "gypsy boy" or "green boy".
