DescriptionSHULTZ bakelite corn yellow bangle with multi-colored dots, fabulous. Wide and chunky bangles like this are such fun to wear and they are hard to find any more. This one has gradually turned to corn yellow over time, as can be seen in the pictures.
It is 2-5/8" by 1-1/2" by 1/2". A bangle like this can be seen in the book, "Shultz Bakelite Jewelry" by Karima Parry on page 101. While the photo in the book shows them as white, over the years they have been turning back to corn color that most vintage bakelite oxidizes to over time, as you can see in the photos.
Ron Schultz creates his wonderful jewelry using vintage circa 1940 bakelite. This was made in 2006 and it has mellowed beautifully since then.
All items in excellent vintage condition unless otherwise noted.
