MIRIAM HASKELL late 1930s bracelet designed by Frank Hess with each gold tone link intricately linked and a green bead claspThe catch is a green glass disk with tiny gold tone metal flowers holding it. It is not signed, as was typical for the early Hess pieces, and Larry Vrba, head designer at Miriam Haskell in the 1970s, confirmed it for me. The clasp is 1-1/2" by 1" and the band is 7" by 1". The similar Haskell necklace in this group is in Deanna Cera's book "Miriam Haskell Jewelry" on page 79, where she says that it was advertised in the April 1940 edition of the Miami Herald.
