Description J&G STERLING silver 1904 ARTS & CRAFTS match safe or vesta with a loop so it can be worn as a pendant or on a chatelaine, it has a lovely hammered design with a circle on the front for initials, not currently engraved.

It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1904 with the maker's mark "J.G." for John Gilbert.

It is made to be slightly curved to fit comfortably into a pocket, and is 1-1/2" and weighs about 1.25 ounces.  View
