Description HOBE framed purse with pastel aqua, pink, rose and lavender unfoiled rhinestones set in a gold tone filigree wire work. The purse has a black satin body with slight rose tints on the front, and all black on the reverse side.
There is a lining with sewn in pockets and a flip-up and handle, all made in about 1940 to 1950. The frame is not signed, but that is typical for the Hobe purse frames, they weren't signed.
There is light wear on the gathered area at the top, but the rest is in excellent vintage condition, total size 11" by 9-1/2". The last photo is an advertisement for these wonderful purses, show here just for reference.
All items in excellent vintage condition unless otherwise noted.
