DEROSA lion head FUR CLIPS, set of two with amazing detail, 1940s

Description DEROSA lion head fur clips with amazing detail, set of 2, each 1" by 1".  The fur is a copper colored enamel over gold plate, the eyes red rhinestones, the fangs enameled in white and the inside of the mouth is a deep red enamel.  Made in the late 1940s, they are an unusual pair.

I have collected DeRosa for years now, but hadn't ever seen these before.  Leo the lion is the astrological sign of July 22- August 23, but certainly anyone can wear them.

Wearing these would bring out the lioness in you, symbolizing strength and bravery!   View   View   View
