Description DEROSA dress clip with patriotic red, clear and blue invisibly set rhinestones, a gleaming beauty.  The red and blue sparkling baguettes are channel set in rhodium plated silver and the clear rhinestones set them off perfectly and are very brilliant as well.  It's 2" by 1-3/4" and in excellent vintage condition, signed "R DeRosa" on the back and made in 1939.

We have a jpg of an advertisement for it dated May of 1939.  This ad  shows the matching bracelet, too.  The price for the clip in 1939 was a lot of money back then.  This ad claims that DeRosa had locations in other countries, but that is an advertising exaggeration because we have seen no proof that he was in any country other than the USA.  Another place to see  the wonderful matching bracelet by DeRosa is in Deanna Cera's book "Jewels of Fantasy"  on page 151.

We have also seen this in a version with no clear rhinestones.   View View
