      DEROSA acrostic "Regards" rhinestone bow and swirl fur clip, a beautiful classicThe rhinestones are colors that represent the gem stones ruby, emerald, garnet, amethyst, ruby, diamonds and sapphire which acrostically spells out the word "regards". Typical of the wonderful details DeRosa used, there is a row of clear rhinestones around the edge of the clip. This clip is 2" by 1-3/4". DeRosa made other designs of these romantic acrostic pieces that spelled out messages of love and regard. Other DeRosa acrostics pieces can be seen in the book, "Jewels of Fantasy" by Deanna Cera on page 158, and in the book, "Swarovski, a Celebrating a History of Collaborations in Fashion, Jewelry, Performance & Design" on page 149. A DeRosa brooch similar to this one is featured there, which indicates that DeRosa used Swarovski crystals in at least some of their pieces.
