| FEATURE: PATRIOTIC JEWELRY
| RED, WHITE & BLUE is a wonderful combination for jewelry or fashion, but at this time of year, it is a patriotic celebration! Wear it in rhinestones, bakelite or wood. Wear it as a brooch, necklace or bracelet. But for the 4th of July, just be sure to wear it with pride! Say "patriotic" in the vintage jewelry world and what first pops to mind is the jewelry from the 1940s.... World War II. Flags, stars, mottos, military motifs and sentimental souvenirs, as well as anything red-white-and-blue. It was made in many materials including wood, bakelite, rhinestones and fine gems. The whimsy of the wood and bakelite pieces is particularly fun.
Also fun are the patriotic people pins... sailors and soldiers. And another category is the jewelry worn by the mothers and sweethearts left behind, sometimes called "sweetheart jewelry".

| Also fun are the patriotic people pins... sailors and soldiers. And another category is the jewelry worn by the mothers and sweethearts left behind, sometimes called "sweetheart jewelry". A related branch of jewelry includes the pieces that soldiers brought home from overseas... both hand made items and foreign jewelry. From hand etched coin bracelets to European cameos and Oriental jewelry, soldiers families treasure things brought back from "over there". Â So much jewelry to enjoy and share! PATRIOTIC jewelry can be purchased HERE.
And our gallery of pieces we have has can be seen HERE. Happy 4th to you and your families! Jane | | | NEW ADDITIONS
