GEORG JENSEN
sterling bracelet with a mark dating it to post-1945, designed in about 1953 by Bent Gabrielson for
Jensen, and a discontinued design. This style is seen in Janet Drucker’s
book "Georg Jensen" on page 154. This design may be
called "Sycamore Pod" and it’s rare. The pods look different
depending on which way they are flipped on your arm, and this is a big
favorite of mine.

but I am not expert in that area so am not sure that is accurate. This is
light weight and easy to wear and the closure is stable.

his jewelry is not being made any more. This weighs about 1.47 ounces. A
beautiful mid-century-modern classic, clean line look and in excellent

MATL Matilde Poulat
Mexican cross brooch and earrings of channel set turquoise cabochons, stick
and cabochon coral and faceted amethysts set in repousse, applied wire work
and hand chased sterling silver, detailed and gorgeous. Note that the brooch
has soaring two birds, possibly doves, one at the tip of two arms of the
brooch. The brooch is 3" by 2-1/4" and it has a loop for a chain on the
back, so can be worn as a pendant. The earrings are jointed above the bottom
element for movement and they are 1-3/4" by 1-1/4" and for pierced ears. There
are two cracked turquoise stones in the brooch, but they are absolutely
stable and not noticeable except on very close examination.

bracelet with green enameled links, 7-5/8" by 7/8", marked also "295".
Bonwit Teller opened in New York City in 1895, changing locations a few
times until they opened on 5th Street in 1911. Their merchandise was high
quality, as was their service. They had locations in other cities as well.
Their logo was a hand bouquet of violets. As of 2010 they are opening again
in NYC on East 57th Street.
