GEORG JENSEN sterling and moonstones dove brooch, this

Kristian Mohl-Hansen

design for Jensen features a graceful bird surrounded by a wreath
of stylized foliage. The five softly glowing moonstones add lovely
flashes of light. This wonderful design combines Jensen’s
distinctive hammered silverwork with a wonderfully organic and
naturalistic motif. Made after 1945, it is marked on the back "925
Sterling Denmark 165, CI" and it is 1-1/2" across.

GEORG JENSEN
sterling silver bracelet titled in some places "Dancing Ladies" and in
other places "Sycamore Pods".

The pods look different depending on which way they are flipped on your wrist,
making it very interesting to wear and a big favorite of mine. It has the marks for Jensen on the back, designed in about
1953 by Bent Gabrielson for Jensen, and it is a discontinued design. The
bracelet measures 7 3/4" long, 15/16" wide, and it weighs 55.9
grams. It is signed "Georg Jensen" in a dotted oval, "Sterling Denmark 115" and the
logo for Brent Gabrielsen.

ESTHER
LEWITTES sterling bracelet. She was a California studio jeweler who
worked in the mid-century modernist style, circa 1950. The bracelet is 1-1/4"
wide and 2-1/3" across. (Seen in Christie Romero’s "Warman’s
Jewelry, 2nd Ed, page 166.)
