Each piece has beautifully fashioned gold leaves and berries that hold the stick coral. The bracelet is four strands of coral beads with a coral bead catch, 7" long and has a safety chain. The larger brooch has a three foxtails and a watch hook on the back, 1-1/2"; the smaller brooch is 3/4"; earrings are 14k screw backs which were probably replaced in the early 1900’s and are 7/8"; the ring is size 7. These are a mix of karat gold and gold filled, with the clasps and brooch fronts being 10k, the ring shank 14k and the fittings and earrings backs gold filled. Sets with this many matching pieces are very scarce and this is a real treasure. In the Victorian era, wearing coral was thought to promote good health.
