curls in ormolu
style oval frame, 3" by 4-1/2". The detail of her hair and jewelry is
absolutely professional and magnificent, and she wears pearl necklace and
earrings and a garnet shoulder ornament. This is signed by the artist on the
inside back, but it has faded so that it is illegible. There is a fold out
stand on the back for display and a loop for hanging.

and on the inside back "The Countess of Blessington, 182", ormolu style oval frame,
2-7/8" by 4-1/2". Artist signed at the front bottom left, but the only
legible part is the first and last letter, "A" and "D". There is a fold out
stand on the back for display and a loop for hanging. This brooch was
featured in Victorian Homes Magazine in an article called "Large

done in embossed tin work with aqua glass accents, circa 1900, 5" by 2-3/4" and
1-5/8" tall. This reminds me of turn-of-the-century fairy tale book
illustrations with both the charm and the gothic flavor that they had.

pencil and lead holder with lovely hand engraved design, a presentation
piece dated 1892, in original box from "H. Pidduck & Sons Goldsmiths,
Hanley", with a bloodstone tip, 4"— from Royal Doulton family. This is
engraved as presented to "William Millward by the Throwers, turners,
handlers and friends of Messrs Doulton & Co Burslam. The throwers, turners,
handlers were a trade union type organization for factory workers in those
days. Doulton were a massive company and Royal Doulton pottery and ceramics
is very popular still today.

Fremantle for winning the Oxford Mile race at Oxford Univ., 1888". From
the Today University Magazine article by Richard Holt,
2005: "The Amateur Athletic Association" was founded… at the Randolph
Hotel, Oxford, 24 April 1880. For over a century, the AAA held sway
over English athletics and and provided a model for amateur sporting
organizations elsewhere in Britain and around the world, including the
Olympic Movement." This clock was awarded at Oxford only 8 years after
this historic meeting. The base is 8" by 5-5/8" and it is 10" high.
