Description EDWARDIAN 14 karat yellow gold crescent pin in seed pearls, 1-5/8".  Marked "14k" on the catch it is from about 1910.  The Daniel Low 1901 Catalogue shows the popularity of these seed pearl pins, made in different shapes.  The crescent moon is affiliated with feminine energy.
