           JAY STRONGWATER winged dragon brooch with a wonderful combination of colorful rhinestones, original boxIt is signed on the back "Jay Strongwater", is 3" by 2". I bought this brand new at Nordstrom in 1998 and it has been in my own collection since then. It comes with it's original box and paperwork, as seen in the photos. Strongwater pieces always have his distinctive look, and this wonderful fantasy animal is my all-time favorite! According to a flyer that came with some of his jewelry, " Jay's jewelry has graced the fashion runways of Oscar de le Renta, Bill Blass and Vera Wang". In 1993 he was " honored to have his jewelry featured at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute ". His jewelry was also seen in such magazines as Vogue, Elle and Harpers Bazaar.
