| FEATURE: REGENCY COSTUME JEWELRY
| The jewelry we just call "Regency" was made by the Regency Novelty Company in New York City from 1950-1970. It is also seen marked "Regency Jewels" with a copyright mark. Using wonderful and colorful art glass, glass petals and drops and high quality rhinestones, it is found set in gold and silver tone metal as well as a gun metal color. I have always felt this wonderful maker is under-rated as far as price is concerned. Many of their pieces remind me of Schreiner, although they dont use the variety of colors in one piece that Schreiner does. And the quality is every bit as nice. We have some lovely REGENCY for sale right now, and you can buy some for your own collection HERE. You might also enjoy our feature on Regency Jewelry by clicking HERE.
| FEATURE:Vintage BoxesÂ
| For many of us, little antique boxes have a definite allure. Versatile and useful, and certainly decorative, they can be use to hold jewelry, pills and trinkets. My favorites are fitted inside and lined with lovely fabrics.  At the turn of the last century, they were often made of sterling and ran the gamut in design from elegantly simple to embossed and ornate. Some even have figures on top that tell a story or illustrate classic motifs.
To see the boxes we have for sale, in sterling and other materials, check our selection at Morning Glory Jewelry.
And our feature showing even more boxes is HERE.
