We have been working with seasonal jewelry all this month, getting a head start on the HOLIDAYS! Morning Glory has lots to share with you, including wishes for the very best holidays EVER!

FALL is a favorite season with all its lovely colors and what more exemplifies Fall than colorful leaves and acorns? Jewelry with natural motifs goes way back in history and has been made from everything from precious gems set in gold to rhinestones to carved wood and bakelite.

The acorn is the symbol of patience and hard work. There is a myth that a acorn in the windowsill of the house will prevent lightening. And carrying an acorn in ones pocket is considered good luck in some cultures. Every squirrel can tell you what fun it is to hoard them, and collecting jewelry with this motif is a year-round treasure hunt!
