JAY FEINBERG 18k and rutilated quartz necklace with turquoise faceted glass spacers, black glass seed beads and 18k yellow gold tube spacers and catch. It is a nice long 48" so it can be worn doubled, it fastens with the toggle closure, and each rutilated quartz bead is 5/8". The marks marked "JF" for Jay Feinberg and "18k" on the catch, but they are tiny and difficult to photograph. I did the best I could in the two photos. |

According to Brunialti’s "American Costume Jewelry: Volume I" on page 39, Block was based in Chicago at the Merchandise Mart and made ready-to-wear clothing as well as jewelry for a short time. It is thought that his line of jewelry was made, at least in part, by the Sandor Goldberg Company of New York, hence you will see this same piece marked "Sandor" as well.
