VICTORIAN Whitby jet mourning locket brooch with entwined "IMO" In Memory Of". The front has a hand textured background that makes the smooth initials stand out. The locket back has two colors of hair curled under glass and held with tiny seed pearls, one gray curl and one brown, 1-5/8" by 1-13". The locket back could be carefully opened if you wanted to replace the hair curls with your own, or with a photograph.
