VICTORIAN Dupuis pietra dura box with flowers including a pink rose, turquoise forge-me-nots and green leaves on ebonized carved wood sides, bronze colored metal accents and a navy pleated fabric interior, 3-1/2" by 2-5/8". The latch clicks together firmly, and the condition is excellent except for wear on the outer bottom, as can be seen in the photo.

This is an amazing box showing a masterful maker, and it is marked on the bottom "Dupuis" and the number "64". I think that perhaps "Dupuis" is the maker's name.
