Description STARET leaf brooch with contrasting red and clear rhinestones set in silver colored metal.  This is signed "Staret" on the back and it was made in the 1940s.  It is a nice size at 3-1/8" by 2-7/8".  The red stones are beautifully  brilliant against the clear rhinestones.

Staret Company made jewelry for only a brief period from about 1940-1947, and they were located in Chicago.  Staret pieces are generally large, and the settings are often pot metal with rhinestones, some enameled and some not.  View  View
