MIRIAM HASKELL original advertising art work for a Frank Hess set, painted by Larry Austin, 1940

Designer: Miriam Haskell
Price: $498.00
Description MIRIAM HASKELL original advertising art work for a Frank Hess set, painted by Larry Austin.  It is an 8" by 9-5/8" hand painted on illustration board.  Pictured is a wonderful Frank Hess for Miriam Haskell coil bracelet and tiara of red glass beads and glass pearls in a gold tone setting.  She wears a typical jacket from the 1940s post-war era with the exaggerated shoulders.  It is numbered in pencil on the back "198", and the foil tag "Miriam Haskell" is still on the front.   Illustrations like this would have been sent to the shops and boutiques that handled Haskell jewelry.  NOTE: This has been cut down 1/8" from the original and there are small nail holes in the four corners as you can see in the picture.
All items in excellent vintage condition unless otherwise noted.
