FRED HARVEY sterling silver and dragon's breath cabochon bracelet, c1950
Price: $398.00
Description FRED HARVEY dragon's breath cabochon and sterling silver bracelet. The design is typically Harvey with crossed arrows on each side. I remember seeing these in the 1950s as a child here in New Mexico. I loved them then and I love them now! It has the punched and arrow motifs on the sides and is marked "sterling" on the inside.
Dragon's breath was originally produced in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, it was exported widely and became popular in American jewelry. By the mid 20th century it was being used in Southwestern and Fred Harvey era sterling jewelry, too.
All items in excellent vintage condition unless otherwise noted.
