Description BENNIE RATION Native American Navajo sterling silver pendant/brooch combination in a feather shape with a purple sugilite cabochon stone, marked "BR" with a crow foot and "sterling" on the back.

The feather is a symbol of strength, wisdom and and honor.  It is 4" by 1-1/4" and the chain marked 925 is 22" long.  It weighs 1.8 ounces.  In the book "American Indian Jewelry III: M-Z' on page 182, author Gregory Schaaf.  In the book it states that Bennie learned from his Father, John Ration, and that he took a 1st prize at the NM State Fair.  View   View   View
