        BAKELITE leaf carved hinged bangle and brooch in medium yellow color, beautifully carvedThe bracelet is a side hinged 6-1/4" by 1-1/4" wide by 1/4" thick and the brooch is 3-5/8" with carved veined leaves. These can be seen, among other books, in Grasso's Bakelite Jewelry page 44 and in in Burkholz' "The Bakelite Jewelry Collection" on page 56. A bangle and brooch like this one only in black can be seen in the book "Bakelite Jewelry, the Art of the Carver" by Deborah Lyons and Lyn Tortoriello on the page 42.
