VICTORIAN gilt gold tone matte finish locket with back compartment and wonderful snake bail, scroll and beaded motif and a really sweet little girl's picture on the back, circa 1880, total length 2-1/2", locket only 1-3/4" by 1-1/3". In Victorian times, the snake was a symbol for everlasting love.
