VICTORIAN cape, all hand made and with a tag, "Au Bon Marche, Maison A. Boucicault, Paris". Black satin ties close the cape at the front of a ruffled 4" multi-layered stand-up collar.  View    Appliquéd fabric flowers and bead work decorate this satin lined black crepe 42" circular cape. It has a 16" neck and is approximately elbow length. It is deeply edged with green velvet.

VICTORIAN lady wearing a cape with deep ruffles, intricate beadwork and appliqué and carrying her fan. She also wears rings on her fingers and a lovely hat.

   VICTORIAN cape with a triple border of  RUFFLES at bottom over green velvet border. I would estimate this to be a size 8-10, but because it is made as an almost full circle, it would fit a smaller or slightly larger size as well.  Tag marked, "Au Bon Marche, Maison A. Boucicault, Paris". There is a 2-1/2" tear on the inside right at the neckline seam, but no other damage that I can see.   This VICTORIAN lady wears a similar CAPE.
