E.V. Roddin
1887-1889 C
atalogue
Chicago, Illinois

Established in 1855, this original E.V. Roddin catalogue from 1887-1889 includes, "Diamonds, Watches, Fine Jewelry & Silverware" as well as rolled gold and silver jewelry. This company both manufactured and sold goods as well as importing them. A note in the catalogue states, "The engravings in this Catalogue are correct and accurate illustrations of the goods... [and] having studied carefully to call everything by it's proper name and avoid all exaggerations, we can safely say that all articles in this book will look even better than the illustrations." These are excerpts from this wonderful 200 page catalogue.

Real pieces shown as examples for reference are close proximities to the items shown in the catalogue.
